Camp Squeah Paddleathon -- 20th Anniversary!

This annual fundraiser for Camp Squeah's Summer Student Bursary is going to look a bit different this year -- just a one-day event, paddling the Harrison River to Island 22 on the Fraser River on Saturday April 21st. Our pastor, Lydia, will be participating, so please do sponsor her if you're able! Other participants are still welcome, but talk to Lydia soon so you can register and get your donation receipt book.

Meeting Joji Pantoja, MC Canada Witness Worker in the Phillippines

Joji Pantoja, MC Canada Witness worker, and CEO of Coffee for Peace, will be joining us Saturday, March 3rd at 10am (in the church basement), to connect with us and share stories of her peace building work in the Philippines. Joji is married to Dann Pantoja and together they give leadership to Coffee for Peace, a fair trade income generation business supporting peace and community building programs in her work with indigenous coffee farmers in the Philippines. They are partners with Mennonite Church Canada in their efforts with Peace Builders Community and Peace and Reconciliation Teams.

Join us for a good cup of coffee and some time with one of the peace builders our community supports! Talk to Adam if you have any questions.

Prayer and Communion for March

Our monthly Prayer and Communion service will be on Wednesday, March 7th at 7;30 pm in the church basement -- please come join us as we encounter God through prayer, scripture, and the Lord's Supper.
