Place of Refuge Society Presents: A Lively Evening of Gospel Blues and Dessert

Cost: By donation to The Place of Refuge Society

Juno award winning keyboardist, singer and songwriter, Kenny Wayne was raised in New Orleans where his preacher father encouraged him to play gospel and his Uncle Charlie taught him blues piano.
The Place of Refuge Society is a non-profit organization that provides abstinence based transitional living accommodations for people recovering from addictions to drugs and alcohol.

German Bible Study

Our German Bible Study will be on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 am in the church basement. The bible study will be held on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of each month, please check your bulletin or the website calendar just in case there are changes, thank you.

German Singalong

We've started our monthly German Singalong! On the first Wednesday of each month we host a singalong with our favourite accordian player Hans Schirr and sing our favourite German Hymns and songs. Place of Refuge Update July 2010
Donations Needed for the Place of Refuge :
1. Two wardrobes (no more than 6 feet tall and 4-5 feet wide)

Meet you at the park for the picnic today, Sunday June 20, 2010

We're still having our annual Church Picnic at Memorial Park, 43rd and Prince Albert.

Our service will start at 10:30 am with a Youth Fundraising Lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers and vegetarian options.

After the food we'll be playing games with everyone, can't wait to see you.
