- Listening Prayer Group at Jon & Janna's - this is a Listening Prayer group which practices different forms of prayer (Intercession, declarative prayer, etc.)

Sunday, November 18 - 10:30 am Worship Service

Guest Speaker Henry Krause, pastor at Langley Mennonite Fellowship will be sharing his sermon "Living, bound to the peace of Christ". Our worship time will be lead by Grant Sawatzky and the choir and all are welcome to join us after the service for a time of visiting.

Lead by Craig Thiessen, this is a time of discernment as we pray for our church during this time of transition.

7:00 pm St. George Small Group at Sam & Tami's - this is our young adult group that meets every Tuesday night in the Vancouver area. If you are looking for directions, please call the church office at 604-321-2131.
7:30 pm Vancouver Small Group at Loewen's (bi-weekly). We'd like to invite anyone who is interested to come out for a time of study, prayer and fellowship. If you've never been part of a bible study group before, (or even if you have in the past) please feel welcome to come and try ours out. The study on Ephesians is lead by John Heinrichs. An Invitation to Fellowship: Please join one of our Small Groups!


We have various small groups/bible studies at this church -- groups which meet weekly to share concerns and pray for one another, to study the bible together, and to grow deeper in fellowship and in faith.

Vancouver Area

A new, Vancouver-area small group bible study will be starting up, hosted by Randy & Mary Loewen and others in Vancouver, and will likely meet Friday evenings starting in mid-October. Snacks and coffee/tea will be served, and all are welcome to come.

German Bible Study

On the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of each month we gather in the church basement at 10:00 am for a German bible study. All are welcome to join us led by Hans-Gerhard Fast. Please phone the church at 604-321-2131 for more info.

Young Adults Group

The YAC (Young Adults Connect) group is now centred around a number of households along St. George St. half a block west of our church -- hence, we've renamed ourselves the St. George small group! We'll be meeting on Tuesdays (7:00 pm), and we have a monthly rotation of bible studies, potlucks, and nights of sharing and prayer. Church Camp Retreat is this Sunday, May 19 to 21, 2012 - No Service at 10:30 am at church

We are heading up to Camp Squeah for the weekend! Our regularly scheduled service will not be at the church. We will have our morning service at the Camp on Sunday morning.

Pentecost is coming up next week. All are welcome to join us for our Pentecost service with the First United Spanish Mennonite Church at 11:00 am.

We have music, prayer, communion & sharing. We are also having a fundraising lunch with excellent food - funds raised will go toward the work of Yola Vargas at the MCC Resource Centre. The resource centre is a place where newcomers to Canada can go for assistance, support, prayer and encouragement.
