FUMC's Vision Statement

Responding to God’s Grace, revealed to us in Jesus Christ, through: worshipping, welcoming, discipling, and serving in the diverse community in which God has placed us

Sunday services in three languages, InCommon Services, Care Groups, Services in Senior Homes, Morning Prayers, Baptisms and Communion are some of the many ways worship happens at FUMC.

Monthly potlucks, International dinners, ESL classes, refugee office, community barbecues, and a Sunday school class for newcomers and ways that welcoming happens at FUMC.

Discipleship classes, Sunday School, New Believers class, German Bible studies, Youth Group, Care Groups, education courses and mentoring are all part of the work of discipling believers in their faith walk.

Serving happens through all the ways people use their gifts for others. This includes teaching ESL, serving on boards and committees, teaching, volunteering at the Youth Drop-In Dentre, or the MCC thrift store, participating in the youth’s Summer Ministries program, visitation by Seniors Ministries, sewing blankets, putting together relief kits, donating and moving furniture for newcomers and participating in Community Events.
